Core Compliance Services
We provide the following core services: accounts, bookkeeping, payroll and pensions processing, VAT returns, CIS returns, self assessment tax returns, Capital Gains Tax calculations and returns as part of our core offering.
These services are provided by our friendly, experienced and qualified team based at our Globe House offices.
We provide quarterly management reports, presented by our Directors, with insights and recommendations to make improvements. Our larger, and more ambitious clients find this service really valuable, and this has been a growth area in recent years.
We do not believe in compliance only service where deadlines are met. This is a given as far as we are concerned. At Versatile, we proactively contact our clients and meet with them well before their year-end to discuss year to date performance, potential tax liability, and tax mitigation strategies. This is more valuable than a tax bill a few days or weeks before the deadline.
Our Directors have in depth business knowledge, experience and management consultancy experience due to their varied and senior level work experiences before getting involved in running an accountancy practice. We have advised businesses and charities with turnovers ranging from £0.5m to £250m on a variety of business critical issues, such as Director disputes, Board development and financial oversight, internal financial controls and processes, and audit and tax compliance. Our clients find our audit, consulting and business advisory experience and knowledge extremely helpful and tap into our knowledge as a sounding board even when things are going well, not just when they’re in trouble or something needs fixing. We have also advised companies on setting up as franchises and expand rapidly.
One of the most stressful things business owners face is having to deal with HMRC inquiries and investigations. We take the stress out of this process by being the face of the business and dealing with HMRC on your behalf.
Most small business are not in a position to hire experienced senior level finance professionals to provide strategic advice to Directors. That is where a fractional, outsourced FD comes in really handy. At a fraction of the cost of employing an FD, you can have our Directors available just a phone call away, or providing regular support on a weekly, monthly, or regular basis.
